Fireboy DML & Asake Connect For “Bandana” Single

Rising Nigerian singer-songwriter Fireboy DML has a “song of the summer” contender with “Sere” (alongside DJ Spinall, which originally released in 2021 but has been picking up steam in 2022). Now, he plans to formally re-introduce himself with his forthcoming third studio album Playboy, set to release on August 5.

With the first single, “Peru,” notching a Gold certification (and an Ed Sheeran remix), Fireboy DML shares the latest focus track “Bandana” featuring Asake. Reflecting on their flourishing and groundbreaking impact, “Bandana” aims to serve as an inspiration and representation for the entire continent of Africa.
