Bobby Shmurda Announces ‘BodBoy’ Project, Drops “Hoochie Daddy” Single

Now that he has been home from prison for a little over a year, Bobby Shmurda has released several loose singles and collaborated with various artists. Now, following Rebel Vs. Rowdy — the debut album of his brother-in-rhyme Rowdy Rebel — Bobby is ready to release his own project.

His first project since 2014’s Shmurda She Wrote, Bobby will release Bodboy on August 5. “When I came into the game I didn’t take the music industry serious,” Shmurda said to HNHH. “I didn’t even really know about the music industry. I didn’t even give a [email protected] about the music industry when I first came in the game, and then I see how powerful music was, and like how kids really react to it. I’m taking all of that power into consideration now.”

Bobby has also released the project’s first focus track, “Hoochie Daddy.” Single
