The Marvel Cinematic Universe is adding yet another A-list talent to its ranks, as Megan Thee Stallion has been cast in the studio’s latest series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

New York Magazine’s The Cut broke the news in a recent interview with Megan, mentioning that the Houston rapper has officially joined the cast of She-Hulk. The Disney+ series premiered on August 18, and will continue its nine-episode run through October 13.

It’s unclear what role Megan will play, as she didn’t directly address the news. However, the Texas native did open up about her recent pivot into acting, which took place earlier this month by way of a guest appearance on Starz’s P-Valley.

When discussing her aspirations as an actor, Megan mentioned Queen Latifah and Ice Cube as inspirations.

“When I look at them [Queen Latifah and Ice Cube], it inspires me to take it further than just music,” she explained. “I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director and I’m also going to be a producer.”

Meanwhile, Megan’s P-Valley co-star J. Alphonse Nicholson told The Cut that the “WAP” rapper has potential as an actress.

“I think she has it in her tool bag to do anything,” he said. “You could see her in a period piece, whether she’s playing someone in the 1960s trying to come up and make it, or whether she’s in a futuresque sci-fi film and she’s out here whooping ass and fighting on some Marvel stuff.”

In addition to She-Hulk, Megan is also set to star in A24’s upcoming R-rated musical F*cking Identical Twins.

Later on in her conversation with The Cut, Megan opened up about her upcoming album Traumazine, which will mark her first full-length effort since last year’s Something for Thee Hotties, while serving as the official follow-up to her 2020 debut album Good News.

“Everybody has gone through their own trauma in their own way, and to me, Traumazine is me facing the things that I’ve been running from about myself. […] It’s comforting to know that other people are going through the same thing that you might be feeling,” she shared. “When something happens to people, they feel like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is only me. This is not normal, or I’m probably the only person in the world that feels like this.’ But to hear somebody else talking about something that you’re probably feeling, it’s more comforting and more familiar. That’s why people resonate with hearing other people’s stories.”
