Tee Grizzley has a story (or 12) to share.
Since kicking the year off with his Half Tee Half Beast EP, Tee Grizzley has been sitting back racking up six figures a month streaming Grand Theft Auto. The music keeps calling, though. And with his latest release, Chapters of the Trenches, he’s taking storytelling to a new level.
Turning cautionary street tales into a cinematic visual album, the Detroit native is bringing his stories to life with a collection of storytelling records about life in the streets.
“I hear a lot of people speak on the trenches and a lot of people think it’s cool. Even Lil Durk would tell you, this shit ain’t gon’ end well,” the hood’s LeVar Burton explained to Billboard. “I want to let you know these types of stories could really happen.”
“Every story is one somebody can relate too,” Grizzley says. “Not glorifying it, just telling you what happen in everyday life.”
