Watch Chris Rock, Larry David, Halle Berry, and More Read Mean Tweets on ‘Kimmel’

Tweets of the decidedly mean variety again took center stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday.

For the latest edition of the ongoing Mean Tweets series, Kimmel enlisted another group of veritable superstars to read and react to tweets about them that are indeed not kind. Kicking off the proceedings this time around was Brian Cox, the reliably candid actor who will soon be seen in a new (and at least partially set in Norway) season of Succession.

Next up was Chris Rock, Matthew Broderick, Kevin Bacon, and Idris Elba. The latter, who recently spoke with Karla Rodriguez for Complex about his film The Beast, offered up a well-earned “Fuck you” in response to one tweet.

From there, a number of additional celebs pop up, including Halle Berry and Andrew Garfield, among others. While Garfield disagreed with the tweeted sentiment at the heart of his assigned tweet, he did concede that it was “incredibly inventive and creative” in terms of its wording.

Fittingly, the latest edition of Mean Tweets was closed out by none other than Larry David. See the full video up top.

Speaking of LD, HBO announced its renewal of Curb Your Enthusiasm for a twelfth season back in August. In a statement shared alongside the news, David cited the opportunity of “playing the role of Larry David” as “the greatest honor” of his life.

“In researching this multi-faceted, multi-talented man, I discovered that there’s more to him than I ever could have imagined: He speaks six languages, brines his own pickles, and spearheads a national movement to install a bidet in every home,” David said at the time.

A premiere date for Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 12 has not yet been announced.
