In the last two years, Nas and Hit-Boy have joined forces for not one, not two, or three… but four albums. And while MAGIC may be my personal favorite of the batch, it’s hard to ignore the quality and potency of the emcee/producer duo’s King’s Disease series.
With the third installment released this past week, I decided to add each piece of the trilogy into an easy to digest playlist. Oh, and would it really be a playlist from us without some new art? Of course not. So, I’ve blended parts of each album cover – Harmonia’s incredible KD1 painting, Ravie B’s profile shot on KD2, and the gold bars of KD3 – into a new creation.
