Lucasfilm has unleashed the long-awaited first trailer for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

Our first look at the fifth entry in the beloved action-adventure series, and the first not to be directed by Steven Spielberg or feature a George Lucas story credit, offers a glimpse at Indy’s latest adventure. Accompanied by his goddaughter Helena, portrayed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, he’s once again forced to face off against a Nazi threat. The trailer also showcases brief glimpses of John Rhys-Davies, Mads Mikkelsen, Toby Jones, and Antonio Banderas’ characters, as well as a brief look at a de-aged Harrison Ford.

Set in the ‘60s amid the Space Race between Soviet Russia and the U.S., The Dial of Destiny is directed by James Mangold, who previously helmed 2017’s Logan and 2019’s Ford v Ferrari. Per Variety, Lucas is still involved with the film’s script in some form, while Spielberg is attached as an executive producer.

The film is likely to be 80-year-old Ford’s last-ever appearance as the iconic character, and potentially his last film role, too. 90-year-old composer John Williams’ also recently confirmed it will be his final project.. “At the moment I’m working on ‘Indiana Jones 5,’ which Harrison Ford—who’s quite a bit younger than I am—I think has announced will be his last film,” said Williams in an interview with Associated Press earlier this year. “So, I thought: If Harrison can do it, then perhaps I can, also.”

The Dial of Destiny is scheduled to debut in theaters on June 30, 2023. Watch the trailer up top.
