Jen Shah has been sentenced in her fraud case.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star will spend 6-and-a-half years in a Texas jail and will have five years of supervised release, TMZ reports. Shah has to turn herself in on Feb. 17. The outlet writes that she was crying in court, apologizing for her actions, and said that “with the proper medication I can now see what happened.”

Shah was apprehended last March for wire fraud and laundering in connection to a telemarketing scam where she was cheating hundreds of people out of money. While she initially maintained her innocence, she changed her tune in July and pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing. She was facing a second charge for the same crime but it was dropped.

In her plea agreement, prosecutors wanted to put her away for 11 to 14 years and have her pay restitution of up to $9.5 million. Later, prosecutors reduced the sentence a bit, asking for 10 years, saying she was the “most culpable person charged in this case.” Shah wanted a three-year sentence.
