Omarion on Nia Long Dating Speculation: ‘You Never Know’

Nia Long and Omarion recently sparked dating rumors after the pair attended the premiere of her new Netflix film You People.

Back in December, Long and Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka ended their 13-year relationship after it was discovered that Udoka had a consensual, improper relationship with a team staffer.

The 52-year-old actress was photographed last week holding hands with Omarion, 38, at the Los Angeles premiere, which of course led some to believe Long had found a rebound in the R&B singer. 

Long quickly shut the rumor down, as she took to Instagram to respond to a video posted by Shade Room regarding the romance.

“Everybody simmer down…I’m single AF,” she wrote in the comments section.

On Tuesday, Omarion (mostly) quelled the gossip while chatting with a Shade Room paparazzo as he walked through LAX. An awkward exchange ensued as he was asked to address the dating rumors. “Is there anything to those reports that you guys may be dating?” the former B2K member was asked in the post below.

Omarion replied “no, no” before the cameraman asked if that means he was “putting the fire out, right here, right now.” 

“Well, I wouldn’t say that,” Omarion responded, before he was pressed about if there’s “a little bit of a window there.”

“I didn’t say that. I didn’t say anything!”

Omarion said he’s single, but also revealed he and Nia Long just met “for the first time on the red carpet.”

When he was pushed further, he played along, saying “you never know” if he and the actress might have a future together, that he has “nothing but respect for the queen,” and that there was “a big Scorpio vibe going on.”
