Google PlayPeople are losing their minds over Pedro Pascal’s Starbucks order.
A viral video making the rounds on TikTok has exposed the Mandalorian star for his love of caffeine. The clip, which you can watch below, sees Pascal getting stopped on the street by a fan, who asks the 47-year-old to autograph a Mandalorian action figure.
“Daddy needs his coffee every morning to carry the entire world and a fandom over his shoulders,” the TikTok user captioned the clip.
Fans zoomed in on the Starbucks cup Pascal is holding and discovered that he ordered an iced quad espresso in a venti cup with extra ice and six shots. For reference: one shot of espresso contains 63 mg of caffeine, meaning Pedro’s coffee had nearly 400 mg of caffeine, which is equivalent to about five or six cups of regular coffee.
While he’s perhaps best known for his role in Disney’s The Mandalorian, Pascal scored another big hit this year with HBO’s The Last Of Us, which airs its Season 1 finale this Sunday, March 12. He spoke about his experience shooting the post-apocalyptic series in a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon.
“I spent the last year shooting The Last of Us on HBO,” he said. “For some HBO shows you get to shoot in five-star Italian resorts surrounding by beautiful people. But I said, ‘No, that’s too easy.’ I want to shoot in a freezing Canadian forest while being chased around by a guy whose head looks like a genital wart.”
