Pete Davidson has unveiled the first trailer for his upcoming semi-autobiographical Peacock series Bupkis. Catch it at the 8:18 mark above.

Davidson tells Charlamagne tha God in the lead-up conversation that Bupkis comes from a “Yiddish or Jewish term meaning ‘whatever’ or ‘nothing,’” which was said often by grandfather growing up. The series centers around Davidson, who plays a “raw, unflinched, fictionalized version” of himself, and features a star-studded cast that includes Edie Falco, Joe Pesci, Bobby Cannavale, Ray Romano, Charlie Day, Kenan Thompson, Sebastian Stan, Steve Buscemi, Jadakiss, Cam’ron, Method Man, John Mulaney, “the original Robin” Chris O’Donnell, Pete’s real-life girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders, Charlamagne, and more.

Colson Baker, popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly, who also stars in the series, provided a glimpse of the trailer, backed by My Chemical Romance’s “Welcome to the Black Parade,” on his Instagram Stories Wednesday.

According to Page Six, Davidson will return to the famous Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center to host Saturday Night Live next month. The 29-year-old comedian decided to leave SNL in May 2022 after eight years. Pete tells Charlamagne above that he was “terrified” to leave SNL because it meant he was walking away from the comforts of a consistent job and set schedule.

Davidson has seemingly maintained a relationship with Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels, who will be producing Bupkis under his Broadway Video imprint. The show premieres May 4 on Peacock.
