Breaking Down Fidelity’s Most Stylish Bloom-o-rama Wearables

Fashion has long been an innovative realm where designers used their work to comment on culture, educate others, and to push ideas forward into the future. Lately, that process has accelerated, thanks to digital technology, the internet, and the metaverse. Nowhere is that more apparent than in the metaverse, where digitization allows designers to create clothing and accessories that look and function unlike anything in the real world.

Fidelity recognizes that’s true of financial education too, which is why it’s focused on the metaverse as a key place for providing people with simple money tips crafted with a new generation of investors in mind.

Case in point, Fidelity’s Bloom-o-rama which will bring money mindfulness to Decentraland (-22, 107)* in the metaverse today. Bloom-o-rama is an immersive metaverse extravaganza, combining gamified quests with wearables, custom emotes, mindful music, actionable financial tips, and an opportunity to enter for a chance to win big money in a Fidelity Bloom Save account.

Inspired by Fidelity’s free Bloom® financial app, Bloom-o-rama meets young investors in the metaverse, introducing Bibi the bee who will guide visitors through the experience to complete challenges like watering flowers, gathering saving, spending, and investing tips, learning helpful money mantras from bull and bear-shaped topiaries, and navigating a hedge maze.

In completing those tasks, Bloom-o-rama attendees will be able to unlock three different custom emotes and a range of wearables, including a Power Petal Suit, Bloom-o-vision glasses, Bibi’s Boost Pack, and Bibi Shades. They’ll also be able to retain those wearables to rock them throughout Decentraland whenever they want. Bloom-o-rama attendees who complete all the tasks will even earn the option to enter for a chance to win $25,000 in a Fidelity Bloom account through an exclusive sweepstakes** which will run between April 27 and May 8.
