More than a year removed from her phenomenal album, EVE, Rapsody returns with her new single, “12 Problems.” While Jay-Z boasted about having 99 problems except one, Rapsody’s “12 Problems” are centered on the issues Black people face in the world, with police brutality being a major one.
The eerie track is held together by its hook that says, “I got 99 problems and 12 still the biggest.” The song joins Jorja Smith’s “By Any Means” and Vic Mensa “No More Teardrops” as singles from Roc Nation’s upcoming Reprise compilation. It also arrives after she tapped D Smoke for a remix of her EVE track, “Afeni,” which also features PJ Morton.
