With Dump YOD: Krutoy Edition dropping December 4th, Your Old Droog is back at the DopeHouse with the project’s latest single.

Wasting no time, the Brooklyn rapper taps in with Black Thought, El-P, Mach-Hommy and Tha God Fahim for “Pravda.” Named in reference to the official newspaper of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, don’t take this for some politically-charged track, though – this is just some good ol’ rap.

The title is a reference to the official newspaper of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. But this isn’t some kind of geopolitical deep dive. 

“This track is more of a quarantine freestyle session than anything that remotely resembles standard song structure,” Droog explains. “It’s the first song I did in isolation and the rest of the features just naturally unfolded.”
