What to Watch This Week: ‘Aziz Ansari: Nightclub Comedian,’ ‘The Afterparty’ and ‘grown-ish’

Some of our favorites are back on our screens giving us so much new content to watch this weekend. Netflix is delivering fresh content regularly this year, and two of its recent releases have made our list. The streaming giant dropped the Aziz Ansari: Nightclub Comedian special earlier this week and it followed as the talented comedian went back to his roots by doing an impromptu set at the Comedy Cellar in New York City. The comedian made headlines earlier this week when the standup dropped after he mentioned both Nicki Minaj and Aaron Rodgers and their public comments on vaccines. Netflix is also delivering their latest limited series, a dark comedy titled The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, starring Kristen Bell and Michael Ealy.

But that’s not all. Apple TV+ dropped a new show called The Afterparty with a stacked cast including  Tiffany Haddish, Dave Franco, Zoë Chao, Ben Schwartz, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, and Jamie Demetriou. The show is about a famous singer named Xavier who invites his old high school classmates over to his house following their 15-year reunion for an afterparty, and he mysteriously winds up dead. Freeform’s hit show grown-ish is also back this week for the second part of the show’s fourth season, and there’s even more drama than usual. There is more than enough to watch this week.
